Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026 · PitchCraft Inc.
This Cookie Policy explains how PitchCraft Inc. (“PitchCraft,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on pitchcraft.life, and how you can control optional categories. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. We are a Winnipeg digital marketing agency — not an AI platform, SaaS product, IT outsourcing firm or non-marketing web studio — and we apply the same clarity to tracking that we apply to campaign measurement for clients.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and scripts that read or write identifiers. Some technologies are essential to operate the site; others help us understand usage or measure marketing if you allow them. Canadian privacy expectations emphasise meaningful consent for non-essential tracking. Our banner is designed accordingly: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise, with preference storage lasting approximately six months.
2. How we store your choices
When you make a choice, we store a compact record in your browser’s localStorage under a PitchCraft-specific key. That record includes your selection (or customised category flags), a timestamp and a note that preferences are intended to last six months. After approximately six months, or if you clear site data, the banner may appear again. Rejecting optional categories does not remove necessary technologies required for security and basic presentation.
3. Categories we use
Necessary
Necessary technologies enable core features such as security, load balancing where applicable, remembering that the cookie banner was addressed, and ensuring forms and navigation function. These do not require optional consent because the site cannot operate correctly without them. They are not used to build advertising profiles of visitors for third-party resale.
Analytics
If you enable analytics, we may use first-party or carefully selected third-party analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, approximate geography at a coarse level, and technical performance. Analytics help us improve content clarity for Canadian visitors evaluating programmes and services. Analytics cookies remain off until you Accept all or explicitly enable Analytics in Customise and save.
Marketing
If you enable marketing cookies, we may measure whether you arrived from certain campaigns or allow limited remarketing tags associated with PitchCraft’s own brand promotion. We do not treat cookie consent as permission to sell personal information. Marketing cookies remain off by default until you opt in.
4. Cookie table (representative)
Implementations evolve; the categories remain stable. Representative entries include: localStorage key pitchcraft_cookie_consent (necessary preference record, ~6 months); session identifiers for infrastructure where used (necessary, session); analytics identifiers when enabled (analytics, variable duration per provider); marketing/remarketing identifiers when enabled (marketing, variable duration per provider). Third-party fonts loaded from Google Fonts may involve network requests subject to Google’s terms; we use them for typography (Manrope and IBM Plex Sans) and treat that delivery as part of site presentation. If you block third-party font requests, the site falls back to system fonts where possible.
5. Managing preferences
Use the on-site banner controls: Accept all enables optional analytics and marketing in addition to necessary; Reject all keeps only necessary; Customise lets you toggle Analytics and Marketing before saving. You can also clear cookies and site data via your browser settings, which may reset preferences. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently standardised; our primary control is the banner and localStorage preference model described here.
Enterprise browsers or privacy extensions may block scripts entirely. That may impair visual design or measurement but will not be interpreted as consent. If you need a written cookie inventory for vendor security reviews, email [email protected] with your organisation name and we will provide a current list during business hours.
6. Relationship to client campaigns
When PitchCraft manages advertising for clients, pixels and cookies on client properties are governed by the client’s notices and platform settings, not solely by this Policy. This Cookie Policy covers pitchcraft.life itself. Confusion between agency-site cookies and client-site tags is common in procurement questionnaires; ask us to clarify per engagement.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as tooling changes. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes to categories or storage periods will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, will reset or re-prompt consent.
